This is very much an event for activists from across the ‘democratic resistance’. A part of the proceedings will be devoted to what we can do practically to organise against this sombre background of an ever deepening crisis in our democracy, government and economy. Bookings are already coming in so act early!

Vaccination teams are to move into schools amid fears of a measles outbreak that could affect up to 100,000 children across the country.

Thousands of children are being offered the MMR vaccine after the number of cases of measles recorded this year reached more than 1,000 for the first time in more than a decade.

Doctors fear that the illness could sweep through the country if children and young teenagers are not vaccinated as a matter of urgency.

The number of cases in England and Wales reached 1,049 cases by October - almost ten times the number recorded in 1996, the Health Protection Agency (HPA) said today. The figure for the whole of last year was 990.

Mary Ramsay, an immunisation expert at the agency, attributed the rise to the relatively low take-up of the combined jab for measles, mumps and rubella.

About two thirds of the cases this year have occurred in London, but health officials in the North West are so concerned about local outbreaks that they are beginning an emergency vaccination programme. They have written to the parents of 10,534 children in Cheshire identified by their records as having missed the MMR vaccination.

Across England, one child in four has not received the suggested two doses of MMR, leaving take-up significantly below the level required to prevent an epidemic. It is estimated that a large outbreak could affect 30,000 to 100,000 children across the country.

British-born Pakistanis were among the Mumbai terrorists, Indian government sources claimed today, as the death toll rose to at least 150.

As many as seven of the terrorists may have British connections and some could be from Leeds and Bradford where London’s July 7 bombers lived, one source said.

Two Britons were among eight gunmen being held, according to Mumbai’s chief minister Vilasrao Deshmukh. At least nine others are reportedly dead.

The eight arrested were captured by commandos after they stormed two hotels and a Jewish centre to free hostages today.

One security official said: ‘There is growing concern about British involvement in the attacks.’

Police attempts to outlaw the monthly Critical Mass cycle ride through the streets of London unless its route was notified in advance were blocked by the Law Lords today.

The House of Lords allowed a challenge by cyclist Des Kay to a Court of Appeal ruling that the Metropolitan Police had the right to demand prior notice of the ride’s date, time and route and the names and addresses of the organisers.

Cyclists who gather on the South Bank and ride through the city to celebrate safe cycling have in the past been handed written notices by the police stating that the event was unlawful because no advance notice was given.

But the Law Lords held that the event, which had no organisers or set route and proceeded on a “follow my leader” basis, was not governed by section 11 of the Public Order Act 1986.

Friends of the Earth Rights and Justice Centre, which acted for Mr Kay, hailed the ruling as “an important victory for the right to peaceful protest and for cyclists to take part in this monthly celebration of cycling”.

When I was a child, ‘pester power’ meant stamping one’s feet in a shop. It involved little more than begging one’s mum in an irritating voice for the latest He-Man figure or for one of those unusually thick pink milkshakes from a place called McDonald’s.

It was a feeble force, this alleged power of the pest, easily quashed by a clip around the lughole or by that most ominous threat issued by mums-in-distress: ‘Just you wait until your dad gets home.’

How times have changed. Today, ‘pester power’ is a powerful political tool.

New Labour is explicitly recruiting children to its climate change and respect agendas  -  its illiberal, conformist, thought-policing programmes of ‘good behaviour’ promotion  -  in the hope that they might, ‘use their pester power in a positive way: reminding grown-ups how to behave’.

After coating Britain in CCTV cameras, the Government is nurturing a battalion of child spies, an army of ethically minded Veruca Salts, to harry and hector the badly behaved adults of 21st-century Britain.

Someone at NASA released a photo that they shouldn’t have, a picture of a piece of timber the size of a railroad tie, a photo that could get someone killed. There is no mistaking that the object in the print below is a piece of wood. NASA claims that Mars is a desert planet with no life at all. NASA lies, repeatedly.

Where would a piece of timber this size come from? There are vast forests on Mars, ones that are kept from the public. This piece of wood looks like it floated to its present location, being partially sunk in the soil. The ground around it is very interesting. Notice the flat rock formation of the soil and the crevices in between them. Does this look familiar? It appears to be the bed of a dried up pond. There had to be a significant amount of water in this area, water high enough to lift that railroad tie sized piece of timber and float is perhaps several miles. The Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter showed that vast regions of the Red Planet have been altered by floods. This dried pond effect should come as no surprise.

‘The CCTV system has gone up in sites across Portsmouth and it will reportedly help predict crimes before they actually happen. The city’s council has set up the network of “intelligent” cameras that can alert an operator to suspicious behaviour. The system is able to spot “unusual” incidents like somebody loitering or a vehicle travelling too fast.’

Household brands including Kit Kat, Flora and Dove soaps have been linked to the mass destruction of Asian rainforests for palm oil plantations.

The millions of acres ear marked for clearance include some of the last habitats of orangutans and other endangered species such as clouded leopards and sun bears.

Soaring global demand for palm oil – now at 41m tons a year – has already seen the destruction of about 20m acres of rainforest in Malaysia. Another 25m acres have been destroyed in Indonesia.

It has also made Indonesia the world’s third largest producer of greenhouse gases, emitted by decaying peat and vegetation exposed by the clearances.

Next month halting rainforest destruction will be top of the agenda at the global climate talks in Poznan, Poland, aimed at agreeing limits on greenhouse gas emissions. A report will warn that 50m acres have been earmarked for clearance in Indonesia alone.

In Britain few consumers are aware of the scale of such destruction. A survey found 75% of consumers knew little about palm oil even though it is found in nearly half of all cosmetics and processed foods.

A device that harnesses the power of the sea to push water uphill has been developed to provide cheap renewable electricity. The invention is designed to pump water hundreds of feet above sea level from where it can gush downhill to drive hydroelectric generators.

Pumping is made possible by the motion of waves lifting the device, Searaser, as it floats in the sea, and gravity bringing it down again in the wave troughs. A prototype has just completed tests in which it pumped water more than 160ft (50m) uphill through a pipe the diameter of a saucer. The full-size device is expected to pump water through a pipe the diameter of a dustbin lid up at least 650ft (200m) – or easily enough to clear the top of Beachy Head, which is 530ft (160m) high.

A series of reservoirs would be built – and in some areas would be reopened – at the top of coastal cliffs and hills to store water until it was needed to generate electricity.

Alvin Smith, the engineer who developed Searaser, envisages alternative uses such as pumping desalinated water inland for irrigation in dry countries.

‘ Alzheimer’s used to be primary diagnosed in people over 65, but now it’s suddenly appearing in hundreds of thousands of people who are merely in their 40’s.

Why is this happening?

Though the conventional medical industry won’t admit this, the real reason why Alzheimer’s is striking people in their 30’s and 40’s is because of lifelong exposure to toxic chemicals that affect brain function. Those chemicals include the very pharmaceuticals that doctors are prescribing patients to treat the symptoms of Alzheimer’s, by the way. They also include the toxic chemicals in foods, household cleaners and personal care products’

Not to mention Cell Phones and Cell Towers, Chemtrails, Aspatrtame, Drugs, mercury in vaccines and mercury dental fillings, fluoride etc…..

The list goes on and on!

‘Big Pharma is promoting Zamicet, a schedule-III painkiller (like a highly-addictive narcotic that would land you in prison if you sold it on the street) to treat young boys. This is the implication of a new ad (see below) in which a young boy in a karate outfit appears in the Zamicet ad. Drug companies, it appears, will sell anything to anyone, including infants, toddlers and young boys. It’s not enough to drug them on Ritalin and SSRIs, now they need powerful painkilling narcotics, too!’

Ever since Ireland voted against the European Constitution Lisbon Treaty, the EU has been clamouring for a second referendum. The trouble is that the risks and gains for the Irish Taoiseach, Brian Cowen, are asymmetrical. If he held the vote and won, he’d be slightly better off. But if he lost, he’d have to resign, and would go down in history as the Taoiseach who wouldn’t take “No” for an answer.

In other words, it wouldn’t be enough for Cowen to think that he would win; he’d have to know. And, given the way the “No” campaign has come from behind in every recent Euro-referendum, it’s hard to see how he could ever be certain.

How, then, will the Eurocrats get their treaty? By a combination of parliamentary ratification, executive fiat and judicial activism. Chunks of the Lisbon Treaty will be unanimously decreed by the 27 governments to be in force, without any formal treaty changes.

Indeed, to a large extent, this has already happened. The EU foreign policy is up and running, the Charter of Fundamental Rights has been declared to be justiciable, the flag and anthem are being treated as official emblems and most of the institutions that would have been created by the constitution - the European Human Rights Agency, the External Borders Agency, the Armaments Agency and so on - have been established anyway.

The new rules on the number of MEPs and Commissioners will be tacked on to the Croatian accession treaty and pushed through without a referendum. Ireland holds plebiscites on EU treaties, not because of an integral part of the 1937 constitution, but as a result of a 1987 court judgment, which the best legal minds in Dublin are now working to circumvent. In

short, the Lisbon Treaty won’t be ratified, just implemented.

A flight aimed at deporting England-bound illegal migrants from Calais is set to leave London on Tuesday.

The first of many, it will stop off in the northern French city of Lille to pick up its human cargo, before making for the war-torn central Asian state.

Armed security guards will be on the plane, which is likely to be supplied by a British company after French ones refused to back the venture.

It will cost some £200,000 in all, with the figure set to multiply to multi-million pound figures as more flights are organised.

The decision to saddle the British taxpayer will a massive bill for the removal of illegal migrants before they have even set foot in the UK last night met with severe criticism.

Mark Wallace, campaign director of the Taxpayers’ Alliance, said: “It is ridiculous that the Government is being so free and easy with British taxpayers’ money.

“We have a big enough illegal immigrant problem inside Britain’s borders without paying to solve those of the French as well.”

‘Ministers are drawing up plans for genetically-modified crops to be grown in secret and more secure locations to prevent trials being wrecked by saboteurs. They may ask the police to target opponents of GM crops in the way that they have cracked down on animal rights protesters. Another option is for the controversial crops to be grown at a secure government site such as Porton Down near Salisbury, which carries out military research and includes a science park where they could be securely developed away from the public.’

The bill is expected to be in the Queen’s speech next month.’

So many people searching for that all important ‘truth’ that remains elusive: Part of the answer that everyone needs to have, to find what they are looking for, is ‘context.” Because without ‘context’ there can be no real knowledge, only data. This is the one thing that overarches every field of endeavor and every area of expertise, which is why it remains the Key to Everything.

The New World Order set out to murder the arts in the early 1950’s because they believed that if people could remain connected to themselves and to their private thoughts; then people would be much harder to capture and hold as their pawns in their very old game of Empire.
After a brief pause Science & Math were shoved down the throats of educators as their new educational system began to take root, without the humanities, and without critical thinking; both of which were allies of the by then deceased ‘arts.’ Science and Art are simply different forms of human talent that can and should work together to advance knowledge and our human understanding of some of the interesting complexities of daily life: The sciences use formulas while the arts use intuition & imagination and together they brought us the advance of real wealth as in the Italian Renaissance.
 http://www.kirwanesque.com/deck/milestones/ jack.htm

Currently Math and Science continue to expand our knowledge base while for the most part ignoring the rest of our humanity, which is not unlike ‘the sound of one-hand clapping.’ Then a few decades back; String Theory, ‘the elegant theory of everything,’ began to take hold: uniting for the first time all of the break-through science from the past with the world of the very, very small-so small in fact that these ’strings of pure energy’ cannot actually be seen, and therefore cannot be used to test the theory. However this turns out, it remains one of the quintessential examples of how context affects virtually everything, at least in the sciences. (1)
In philosophy, in religion, and in counter-intelligence ‘context’ is also the key to understanding whatever information is being studied or discovered. Because without context most information, or even most objects, are simply bits & pieces of a mystery without any apparent conclusion. In the case of the Maya; archeologists long ago discovered stone carvings called Stelae, in prominent places amid the ruins of cities that turned out to contain graphic keys to their language. Consequently, when finally decoded these works of art gave us the history of an entire people: Without the context provided by these carvings, the mystery of these ancient people would still be unknown. (2)

In politics; context is the real key to ultimate power. The ‘power that is still in control has been in control since the time of the Egyptians: But these powers have a huge weakness for showing their power to us, through the occult, which simply means “hidden.” Part of their method for controlling knowledge is to hide that knowledge in reverse symbolism, and hidden meanings, which they can then display in plain site. Here again without context, the facts- alone are almost meaningless.
Two brief examples that will clarify my contentions. These come from David Icke in his new DVD release entitled: Freedom or Fascism The Time to Choose, very near the end of Disc 1.

The First: ‘Just because some groups fight each other does not mean that they are not both on the same side. In WWII, the Nazi’s (apparently) fought the anti-Nazi’s. (Yet the funding for both came from the same sources). In case you’re wondering, this was necessary in order to consolidate power and to change the existing world-both of which WWII did accomplish. The truth of what lay behind the power that underwrote the Nazi’s was in the symbols on Hitler’s uniform. The collar insignia was that of the Knights of Malta: the skull & bones of the SS stood for the secret society to which both George and GWH Bush belonged, along with Kerry. And on the cap is the American eagle (a stand-in for the legendary Phoenix) with the Swastika in its claws.’
The Second: The gold fringe that surrounds the US flag in US courts and on US military uniforms. The gold fringe indicates The International Law of Flags that has come to represent the universal commercial code that functions as the universal code of contracts: this came down to us via British Maritime Law. When we enter a US courtroom today, we are contracting with what is in effect “a corporation” without knowing it. This is what is indicated by the ALL CAPS in which your name appears on your driver’s license or any legal papers you might receive. What this means is that ‘American courts are operating under the Maritime Law of Contracts, and not under the laws of the US Constitution. By entering the court you have contracted with a corporation (without your direct knowledge) and to be subjected to it laws, over those contained in the United States Constitution.’

US troops in Iraq and elsewhere, as well as a variety of uniformed civil personnel are also wearing the gold-fringed flag on their uniforms. In Iraq of late, soldiers are wearing the US flag backwards, with the stars on the right instead of on the traditional left of the flag. This means that these troops do not represent America they represent the corporation (USA Incorporated the same corporation that created the Federal Reserve Bank) based in Washington D.C. (3)

Context again is what must be studied when you seek to discover any truth behind any current or historical event. David sums up Disc One with the following quote: “If we believe we are powerless we will be powerless; but when you get through that and you realize who ‘we’ really are then this (deception), powerful as it seems; is but a fly to an elephant-when we get our power back!”

A woman who has fought for seven years to control use of pesticides on farmland near private houses is celebrating a landmark legal victory.

A High Court judge ruled yesterday that Georgina Downs, who lives in the countryside outside Chichester, West Sussex, had produced “solid evidence” that residents had suffered harm from the chemicals.

Mr Justice Collins said that the Government had failed to comply with its obligations under a European directive to protect rural residents and communities from possible harmful exposure to toxic substances during crop spraying. He called on Hilary Benn, the Environment Secretary, to review current controls on use of sprays and the way they are assessed in terms of risk to human health.

Ms Downs, who was aged 11 when she first became exposed to pesticide spraying and began to suffer flu-like symptoms, sore throats and blistering, was delighted with the ruling on “one of the biggest public health scandals of our time”. She called on Gordon Brown to intervene and block any appeal.

A surreal scientific blunder last week raised a huge question mark about the temperature records that underpin the worldwide alarm over global warming. On Monday, Nasa’s Goddard Institute for Space Studies (GISS), which is run by Al Gore’s chief scientific ally, Dr James Hansen, and is one of four bodies responsible for monitoring global temperatures, announced that last month was the hottest October on record.

This was startling. Across the world there were reports of unseasonal snow and plummeting temperatures last month, from the American Great Plains to China, and from the Alps to New Zealand. China’s official news agency reported that Tibet had suffered its “worst snowstorm ever”. In the US, the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration registered 63 local snowfall records and 115 lowest-ever temperatures for the month, and ranked it as only the 70th-warmest October in 114 years.

So what explained the anomaly? GISS’s computerised temperature maps seemed to show readings across a large part of Russia had been up to 10 degrees higher than normal. But when expert readers of the two leading warming-sceptic blogs, Watts Up With That and Climate Audit, began detailed analysis of the GISS data they made an astonishing discovery. The reason for the freak figures was that scores of temperature records from Russia and elsewhere were not based on October readings at all. Figures from the previous month had simply been carried over and repeated two months running.

‘Ministers want to double the number of girls using contraceptive jabs and implants to cut down on teenage abortions.

Under reforms, youngsters considered at risk of unplanned pregnancies will be advised by their GPs to use these methods of contraception, which could render them infertile for three years.

In addition, abortion clinics will be required to offer immediate contraceptive advice to women after their pregnancies have been terminated. Those who decline to take the advice will be recalled and asked to consider having implants or injections.’

‘The Government’s latest proposal to combat Britain’s binge-drinking epidemic is to turn down the volume of music in pubs and bars. Landlords could be forced to outlaw all entertainment louder than 70 decibels – roughly the same as a hairdryer – to curb alcohol-fuelled violence and anti-social behaviour. A Labour taskforce has been persuaded by research which showed that loud music in pubs made customers buy more alcohol and drink it faster.’

We have received word from Stop Common Purpose that they have identified Barack Obama, not as a Socialist or as a Communist, but as a Communitarian. This statement may require further explanation.

First of all, let’s jog our memory what is Common Purpose. In case of a total blank on the reader’s part we can best refer you to our dossier on the subject. This nefarious, Sorosian fifth column - CP, for short - has its tentacles all over Britain where it is quietly subverting all walks of life without so much as a by your leave. It is rapidly expanding globally.

CP, rooted in the early history of mass psychology and in the British Labour Party, stands for a new, post-democratic, borderless world order, also known as Transnational Progressivism. Stop CP’s home page and their page on CP’s philosophy explain the matter in detail. This organization is beyond the Marxist/Fascist, Left/Right dichotomy. They are far worse: CP is Pragmatically collectivist and the collective is … the world.

Those who assure themselves that all is well and that the New World Order is just a conspiracy theory pursued by unhinged paranoids can disabuse themselves of the illusion here and now by reading Glenn Beck’s transcript of UK Prime Minister Gordon Brown’s recent statements on the international financial crisis, which gives world leaders in his opinion an unique opportunity to establish the global society.

Oh, and before leaving the wonderful world of CP to ‘act beyond authority’, hi, Sarah Lambert, have a nice day!

Advocates Call for Immediate Ban of All GM Foods and GM Crops.

A long-term feeding study commissioned by the Austrian Agency for Health and Food Safety, managed by the Austrian Federal Ministry of Health, Family and Youth, and carried out by Veterinary University Vienna, confirms genetically modified (GM) corn seriously affects reproductive health in mice. Non-GMO advocates, who have warned about this infertility link along with other health risks, now seek an immediate ban of all GM foods and GM crops to protect the health of humankind and the fertility of women around the world.

Feeding mice with genetically modified corn developed by the US-based Monsanto Corporation led to lower fertility and body weight, according to the study conducted by the University of Veterinary Medicine in Vienna. Lead author of the study Professor Zentek said, there was a direct link between the decrease in fertility and the GM diet, and that mice fed with non-GE corn reproduced more efficiently.

Before she met me, my wife hadn’t a clue about the things I write about here. She still struggles to accept quite a lot of it. But I know something is changing when she points things out to me that even a few months ago would have gone unnoticed.

On this occasion, it was in an interview with the Prince of Darkness on Channel 4 news.

“This is really weird,” she said, “the interviewer is speaking normally, but it’s like Mandelson is trying to hypnotise everyone.”

The reason this brought a wry smile to my face was that I had, just that day, been digging into Mandelson’s links to the murky world of Neuro-Linguistic Programming - that “leadership”/change/personality-splitting technique used by the likes of Common Purpose.

I’d been digging because a friend had pointed out to me what happened if I typed http://www.petermandelson.com/ into my web browser of choice.

Israel went back on a pledge to ease its blockade of the Gaza Strip on Thursday, turning away critical deliveries of fuel and food at the borders for the seventh consecutive day.

In reneging on its pledge, Israel blocked delivery of United Nations food aid intended for 750,000 Palestinians.

Gaza was plunged into darkness as the territory’s only power plant shut down at 6:00pm local time due to a lack of fuel. Just before dark, Palestinans went into the streets in a frantic search for candles and bread.

As night fell, sirens sounded accross the Gaza Strip in protest of the closure.

Earlier in the day, 20 European consuls who planned to visit Gaza were turned away at the Erez border crossing. Aid workers were also denied entry to the Strip and medical patients were prevented from entering Israel for treatment.

John Ging, the director of UN operations in Gaza, warned of an impending “humanitarian disaster” if Israel continues to bar food and other supplies from the territory.

“We cannot describe the situation in the Gaza Strip except as a terrible and terrifying one. There are 750,000 refugees who depend on what we offer them in food supplies. Israel is preventing us from distributing these supplies,” he told Ma’an.

I don’t watch TV or movies anymore, mostly. But I watched Elizabeth I: The Golden Age, directed by Shekhar Kapur. I’m still interested in that part of history, and I’ve had a nagging suspicion that there’s some significance I should be exploring in the Spanish Armada. It turns out the movie inspired me to discover some interesting clues.

The movie is a joke. It’s so over the top. Overt propaganda for British patriotism, and so idealizes the person of Elizabeth, aggrandizing her into a sort of superhero. So the acting is grossly exaggerated, and has no sense of realism.

And the movie follows the stereotypes forged by the Da Vinci Code in thoroughly demonizing the Catholics. All suspicions of the Vatican being the bastion of all modern evil aside, this is a pathological bent that is symptomatic of wholesale absorption of the Illuminati agenda.

It was farcical.

This characterization of the Catholics as villains was contrasted by a celebration of its contrary, the occult. I was at least pleased with the fact that the movie showed that Elizabeth consulted her magician, John Dee. Dee is no small personage in the history of the occult. He was supposedly responsible for creating Enochian magic, which has fascinated occultists ever since
