   Spin this way and that Politicians ; common words - our our munitions !
   And no dubius legal-dance of a soft -shoe- shuffle;… can ever - never; …the truth unruffle….
   You’re on the back foot; your mind is like soot ; and dark are your thoughts and still brooding,
   This way and that, you try to stand pat, but your cards are not nigh by your chest ;
   We’ve seen your true hand and your suit is all dammned - but the danger was; all your command.
   Your hand it proved bad ,and your motives were sad;
