Friday morning I was expecting to hear from Paul after exchanging a number of
e-mails during the week about the 1989 Cheesefoot Head sound analysis
he did
for me.  I was looking out for his anticipated message when I received an e-mail
from Kerry McKenna with Paul’s name in the subject line.  Instead of the reply I
was expecting from Paul it was the shocking news that his body had been
washed up in the English Channel at Southsea, near where he lived.

Like many of my research colleagues and friends I am deeply shocked and upset
at this terrible loss.’

Below is the text of a letter sent to all Common Purpose Employees

Also a chronological series of emails between Justin Walker an Joanna Thorpe of ‘Common Purpose’

To all employees of Common Purpose, please read:

My friends,

You are, I’m sure, already aware that your charity is controversial to a growing number of people.  Now, it may be that you are not bothered by this and that you have been reassured by internal memos sent out by Julia Middleton and her central team, but I feel I must warn you that the Charity’s inability to defend itself publicly when asked to do so by a TV channel, who very recently allowed air time to Brian Gerrish, one of your main detractors, is strange to say the least and not what you would expect from a respectable charity.   Please watch this http://www.tpuc.org/node/538 and see for yourself the severe allegations being made against the organisation you work for.

As you will see from the emails below, I have attempted to persuade the Charity to accept their ‘Right of Reply’ made by the presenter of the programme.  To date, I have had no reply.   If Common Purpose has absolutely nothing to hide, then it should readily and enthusiastically accept this offer to restore the Charity’s good name.  It would be even better if Julia Middleton had the courage to debate live with Brian Gerrish and so sort out these allegations properly.

There are now millions of people in this country who know that the planned Orwellian European Union Superstate, after the full ratification of the Lisbon Treaty, is just a matter of time…..a case of ‘when’ not’ if’.   However, there are now hundreds of thousands of ordinary decent people who know that ‘Fifth Columnists’ are actively weakening the UK internally and who are preparing, behind the scenes, new government structures, putting in place ‘new leaders’ or Quislings for when this dreadful time happens.  Well, I have to tell you, the good people of this country are organising and Common Purpose, unless it publicly clears its name, will be brought to justice and account under Common Law.    Do not be surprised if you see citizen arrests of Common Purpose employees and graduates as we seek to flush out and expose the treason and criminal activities being done against our country.

Please, I urge you most earnestly, if you have absolutely nothing to hide, will you please take up this offer by Edge Media TV to clear yourselves of the accusations being made against you.  Failure to do so will mean we reserve our Common Law right to do the decent, lawful and honest thing to save our country.

With all best wishes and sincerity,

Justin Walker

Dear Ms Thorpe,

As you can see from the message below, I contacted you back in June of last year about the attacks on Common Purpose and how astounded I was that this ‘charity’ that you work for was refusing to clear its name in the courts as any proper charity would.  Last week I saw on the Edge Media TV Channel an interview with Brian Gerrish who put forward a compelling and convincing case that your charity is, without doubt, taking part in treasonous and criminal activities (http://www.tpuc.org/node/538).  The presenter of the programme, Theo Chalmers, offered repeatedly a ‘right of reply’ to Common Purpose to defend itself at a future date.  I earnestly hope that you will take up this offer…..ideally you should agree to a live debate with Brian Gerrish so that we can sort out once and for all if there is any substance to Mr Gerrish’s allegations.  Failure by yourselves to take up this offer, which would cost the charity very little if anyth ing financially, will make ordinary decent people believe you have something to hide and will leave you open to actions under Common Law to bring Common Purpose to justice.

As you can see, I have again CC’d my MP, Tim Farron, who I’m sure will be interested in how you respond to this.

I await, hopefully, your prompt reply.

Yours sincerely

Justin Walker

Subject: RE: A Challenge to Common Purpose

Dear Mr Walker

Thank you for your email of Monday 16 June and concern about Common Purpose’s reputation.

Common Purpose’s reputation is being attacked by a small number of persistent people, who are making a number of untrue claims about our organisation, which range from Common Purpose grooming children for sex to being a pro-EU criminal organisation working to secretly abolish the UK state.  You will have noticed that some of the criticism also comes from organisations like the British National Party. There is no doubt that these claims are defamatory.

We take the protection of our reputation very seriously and continually seek advice about how to handle, and review our strategy for dealing with, these untrue claims. Sadly the internet today is the perfect medium for all sorts of conspiracy theories. Common Purpose is very happy to discuss the work we do, and respect anyone’s right not to agree with or support it, but it is important to us that the facts are correct. As such, we took the steps to create a website to communicate the facts and to correct the untruths about the organisation. Setting up a website is actually a fairly comm on response. We trust that people will read the claims and make their own informed decision about the m otivation of those people who have written them. From reading the www.commonpurpose.net site you will understand we are small/medium sized educational charity and our funding structure is different to the large fundraising charities like Macmillan. You can read our accounts here:

http://www.commonpurpose.org.uk/home/CompanyInfo.aspx

We continue to monitor the need to take legal action, and the expense involved in this. We are of course, in touch with the Charity Commission, as our regulator, about these claims too.

If you have any questions about Common Purpose  I would be delighted to talk to you,and Mr Farron MP, or to put you in touch with any of our Trustees:  http://www.commonpurpose.org.uk/home/aboutus/trustees.aspx.   You can read some of the comments from supporters and participants online here: www.mycommonpurposeexperience.org or visit our press room http://www.commonpurpose.org.uk/home/aboutus/press.aspx to get a more balanced of the coverage about Common Purpose.

Joanna

Common Purpose

Dear Ms. Thorpe,

Your Charity is clearly under attack on a very large scale if you have had to publish a section ”Is it true that Common Purpose…..” here on  www.commonpurpose.net (Tim, please scroll down to the bottom to find it).  I know of no other charity that has had to resort to such measures.

Back in 1999, I worked for Macmillan Cancer Relief as a fundraiser.  During an internal ’teach-in’ day for the Charity in Manchester, I remember talking to Nick Young, the Charity’s then Chief-Executive (now Sir Nicholas Young, CEO of the British Red Cross) and during our chat I remember asking him what would Macmillan do if somebody criticised the Charity to the point that it damaged the Charity’s good name and the ability of the Charity to  fundraise effectively.   He said, without any hesitation whatsoever, that Macmillan would first make sure it was not at fault; then it would try and reason with the source of criticism; and, if that failed, would then resort to legal action to protect the Charity’s good name and reputation.

I have to say that I am astounded that you have not attempted to silence, through legal action, your critics.  If you are a bona fide charity, as you claim to be, with absolutely nothing to hide, then you would have taken your critics to court by now for slander and libel.   Common Purpose’s excuse for not doing so, which I read in a copy of a letter you wrote recently to one of your clients, was that you didn’t want to give th e ‘oxygen&nb sp;of publicity’ to your critics.  This is pathetic.  If you are being maliciously targeted, then you are duty bound to seek legal redress to restore your good name - this is what is expected of any decent charity with absolutely nothing to hide. One gets the feeling that you would not like your critics to have their day in court under oath.

I await your reply with interest.

You will see that I have copied this letter to my MP, Tim Farron, who will also be interested in your response to this letter.Yours sincerely

Justin R. G. Walker

More Info On This Event here…

The debate about the use of stop and search – be it protesters or young black and Asian men, be it in the case of stopping knife crime or deterring terrorism – is one that has (understandably, perhaps) been fixed on the police results rather than the times they get it wrong.

But it is in the cases where they get it wrong that attitudes towards police are sharpened and the rights we feel we have as citizens practically defined. So I offer this card for readers to download, print and carry. It warns police officers that if a stop and search is intrusive, unlawful or malicious, you will pursue the issue through the Independent Police Complaints Commission and, if necessary, to civil proceedings. You might want to offer this card to an officer before a search takes place. Enjoy.

Click here to download a pdf of the card. Then print, cut it out, fold it in half and carry it around with you.

Looks like today the British workers outside the Lindsey oil refinery in Lincolnshire have been twinned with the striking workers at the shipyards at Gdansk in 1980: and for any worker, there could be no greater honour.

Gdansk was the moment when Polish workers stood against the Soviet empire and said there would be no more submission: ‘On our knees before God, but on our own two feet before all men.’

Their strike spread across Poland, and cracked the power of the quislings in Warsaw who did Moscow’s work. The strike was the beginning of the end of the Soviet empire.

Today the strike in Lincolnshire has spread across Britain to contractors at the nuclear power plants Sellafield and Heysham, to Grangemough oil refinery and power stations at Longanet, Warrington and Staythorpe, to contractors at the South Hook LNG terminal in Milford Haven, and to Croyton oil refinery in Essex.

Thousands have gone out. The strikes have gone wild cat.

And all of it is right. For what else can British workers do when their own parliament has turned over the power to control Britains’ borders and Britain’s labour laws to the Brussels empire?

There is no point in saying, ‘The workers must obey the laws that govern employment.’ The laws which now govern employment in this country are no longer legitimate. They are no longer the laws drawn up by British democracy.

They are the laws drawn up by the European Commission. They are laws to which a generation of Britain’s politicians have signed up, giving away powers they had no right to give away.

Britain’s politicians signed up to these laws in Treaties most of them have never read, and if they did read them, they didn’t believe every ‘Europe without frontiers’ clause would be enforced.

Well, surprise: the rootless cosmopolitan euro-zealots all over the Continent (though mostly in France) and the career eurocrats in Brussels (mostly led by the French) who wrote the European treaties put this stuff in because they meant to see it enforced.

But just listen to the whining of Peter Hain, the former work and pensions secretary who was part of Tony Blair’s EU-pandering government, at the weekend. He told one paper that he thought something had gone ‘badly wrong’ with the way EU legislation was being enforced.

What he means is it is actually being enforced. The only thing that is ‘badly wrong’ is that Britain should ever have agreed to it in the first place.

The Daily Mail

“Off with their heads” and “man the barricades” the cries of the famed “sans culottes” rang out and sent shivers down the spines of the doomed Bourbon dynasty way back then. These poor yet determined revolutionary men fighting for a semblance of social justice and disparagingly referred to as “without knee breaches” by the ruling royals and aristocracy seem to reverberate in today’s urban European settings.

220 years after the French revolution, scenes somewhat reminiscent of the almost long forgotten revolts, are again visible on the streets of Paris. They appear to be   pre revolutionary in their scope and political impact. The fall out from all this maybe like a horror film come true for those at the top.

Unions of all sorts have mobilised in protest of what is perceived as anti social   government policy of President Nicolas Sarkozy, or a final assault on what remains of the welfare state, decimated by decades of rampant and reckless ultra liberalism which has since run amok. This has paralyzed the country by widespread strike action. From rail to air, transport has been virtually halted. Public employees and their union members fearing for the security of their jobs and anticipated state imposed reforms in the public sector have made many in French angst ridden.

‘On 8 October 2008 Lloyds TSB wrote to the Islamic Bank of Britain (IBB), giving them 60 days notice of withdrawal of their services as a clearing bank, unless they agreed they would no longer process transactions for Interpal, a charity sending aid to Palestinians in Gaza.

In effect, this meant that the IBB would have to close down or freeze Interpal’s account or lose clearing facilities for all its customers’ accounts. After representations from The IBB, Lloyds TSB agreed to postpone this action until 30 January 2009.’

“LAWFUL REBELLION” CONFERENCE

 ACTIONS NOT WORDS

KINGS’ HALL, STOKE ON TRENT - 24TH JANUARY 2009

  • Our civil liberties, Constitution and Common Law are under attack and being dismantled.

  • Governance of our country is being handed over to the European Union and other unelected and unaccountable supranational corporate bodies without our consent.

  • Our economy has been handed over to a transnational corporate and banking oligarchy.

  • Our privacy is being constantly violated and our democracy degraded.

  • Our politics are dominated by a culture of stealth, deceit, treason, duplicity and criminality.

  • Our law is no longer a friend and protector, but increasingly onerous, invasive, disproportionate, corrupted by special interests and institutional gravy trains, and itself illegal and unconstitutional.

We will therefore:-

  • Reject the new political dispensation, whilst re-affirming the supremacy of our Constitution and Common Law.

  • Outline the stepping stones to the creation of an active national network to defend and protect non-violently but effectively our Democracy.
  • This is not a plan for another political party- this is a movement coming from the grassroots made up of h onest and decent people, armed with practical and effective suppressed knowledge to frustrate and defeat the traitors and criminals who are destroying our country and communities.

  • Prepare ourselves to make a solemn commitment to renounce citizenship of the European Union; to declare that our membership of the European Union, and all the treaties, purported laws, courts and institutions pertaining to it, having been foisted upon us by stealth, deceit and treason, is unconstitutional and illegal, and to defend our Democracy, Constitution, Common Law and Civil Liberties. All people of honesty, good will, energy, truth, courage and compassion must now stand together.

A Local Exchange Trading System (LETS) is a community-owned and run currency system based on a zero-sum model, as opposed to monetary systems in which the money-suppliers continuously add interest, thereby increasing the money supply. Each member’s account is usually set to start at zero; in order to trade on average half the accounts will be “in commitment” but with no interest being charged or earned at either end.

The zero-sum system enables members who engage in mutual exchange activities to record the value of that exchange, as a simultaneous plus and minus in each other’s accounts. Historically, some LETS groups keep manual ledgers, others use stand alone database systems to carry out these transactions. The next generation of networked community currency systems is changing the scene, immensely.

During Wsfii, a local currency was used to manage internal accounting between organisers, and provide attendees with food tokens redeemable in the local shops. The “Lime” (short for Limehouse in London, where Wsfii was held) was not a LETS system proper, but an Event Currency only usable within a discrete period of time. This seemed like excellent way of bootstrapping what could become a fully-developed local currency, because it established with local traders the idea that Limes are real, they equate to the mainstream currency, and they work for all. Once confidence is established, it becomes possible to take the currency “virtual”; so traders would not necessarily feel the need to cash out in sterling, but could keep a balance on their Limes account.

An ideal scenario: perhaps they need some help to serve behind the counter. They could connect to a local information portal and consult a directory to find someone willing to do this kind of work in exchange for Limes, which are redeemable in other local shops. This scenario may be some way into the future, but the Limes experience at Wsfii laid a good foundation for proving the concept could work.

Demonstrators demanding an end to Israeli airstrikes on Gaza hurled their shoes at the gates of Downing Street yesterday during a wave of global protests.

Riot police were also pelted with missiles and fireworks as about 5,000 pro-Palestinians descended on the Israeli Embassy in London in the evening.

Earlier in the day, around 12,000 people marched through the centre of the capital, including singer Annie Lennox, human rights campaigner Bianca Jagger and former mayor Ken Livingstone.

Elsewhere in Britain, 2,000 demonstrators took to the streets in Manchester and 500 braved the cold in Edinburgh.

Paris held the world’s biggest protest, with 25,000 people showing up to condemn the Israeli offensive, which has killed at least 436 Palestinians since December 27th.

The death toll includes 75 children, according to Gaza medics. And almost 2,300 people have been wounded inside the territory.

Demonstrations against the killing were seen in cities across the continent with left-wing radicals and other sympathisers taking to the streets.

In Spain, 11 protesters were arrested and several police officers injured when clashes took place in Madrid and Barcelona.

In Copenhagen, 32 people were arrested when their protest in support of the Greek protests turned violent.

In neighbouring Turkey, about a dozen left-wing protesters daubed red paint over the front of the Greek consulate in Istanbul.

Around 150 people belonging to a Danish underground movement took to the streets, throwing bottles and paint bombs at buildings, police cars and officers. In Moscow and Rome, protesters threw petrol bombs at Greece’s embassies.

Journalists came under attack for the first time in the riots, with a Russian news crew assaulted by a mob of about 50 youths, some of them reportedly drunk.

‘Thousands of Icelanders marked the 90th anniversary of their nation’s sovereignty with angry protest Monday, and several hundred stormed the central bank to demand the ouster of bankers they blame for the country’s spectacular economic meltdown.

Tiny Iceland has seen its banks and currency collapse in just a few weeks while prices and unemployment soar — leaving a country regarded as a model of Scandinavian prosperity in a state of shock.

“The government played roulette and the whole nation has lost,” writer Einar Mar Gudmundsson told a noisy but peaceful anti-government rally of several thousand people in downtown Reykjavik.

After the rally, hundreds of protesters stormed the headquarters of Sedlabanki, Iceland’s central bank, demanding the sacking of its chief, David Oddsson.

The demonstrators staged an hour-long standoff with shield-wielding riot police inside the bank’s lobby, singing songs and chanting “Out with David” and “Power to the People.” The protest ended peacefully when both police and demonstrators agreed to withdraw.’

And what do the British sheeple do? Bleat and moan about how awful it all is then snooze off infront of the mind control box again !

Those that listened to my radio show last night, will know the second hour was one of the hardest interviews I have ever had to do. It choked me so much I could hardly speak as we went into the end of hour two.

My guest was Brian Howes. He and his wife Kerry have four young children and are facing extradition to the USA under this unfair and unjust extradition treaty I keep going on about. They face up to 95 years in a max-security prison and will never see their children again.

Brian at one point made this emotional statement “Kerry has vowed she will not go to America, and never see her children again, she has said she will commit suicide instead, and if she goes, I go”.

The pair have already spent 214 days in prison, and during this time Brian spent 30 days on hunger strike. Their bail  conditions mean they have to sign in at their local police station THREE TIMES EVERY DAY.

Their crime? They had a LEGAL chemical sales company, but one US citizen found that one of the chemicals legal in the UK, could be used to make “crystal meth”. On that alone, they are being sought for extradition to stand trial in the USA.

Our government offer NO PROTECTION of UK citizens any more, and just like Gary McKinnon, these people are being thrown to the lions. A British passport used to mean something, we knew as citizens we could travel the world and be protected by our government and our embassies, but no longer it would seem!

The ironic thing is, we cannot get an American citizen extradited without him/her first being proven guilty through trial in their own country!

We MUST act to get our government to review this unjust and unfair treaty which is a breach of our human rights. PLEASE sign the petition NOW and ask everyone you know to do the same…. http://petitions.number10.gov.uk/US-extradition

Police attempts to outlaw the monthly Critical Mass cycle ride through the streets of London unless its route was notified in advance were blocked by the Law Lords today.

The House of Lords allowed a challenge by cyclist Des Kay to a Court of Appeal ruling that the Metropolitan Police had the right to demand prior notice of the ride’s date, time and route and the names and addresses of the organisers.

Cyclists who gather on the South Bank and ride through the city to celebrate safe cycling have in the past been handed written notices by the police stating that the event was unlawful because no advance notice was given.

But the Law Lords held that the event, which had no organisers or set route and proceeded on a “follow my leader” basis, was not governed by section 11 of the Public Order Act 1986.

Friends of the Earth Rights and Justice Centre, which acted for Mr Kay, hailed the ruling as “an important victory for the right to peaceful protest and for cyclists to take part in this monthly celebration of cycling”.
