‘Hollie and Anne would like to thank their many supporters for their continuing hard work and support. Towards that end, they have decided to host an informal function near Berwick-upon-Tweed at the Marshall Meadows Hotel on Sunday the 21st of March from 2 until 5pm. The Marshall Meadows Hotel is situated north of Berwick-upon-Tweed, and just a quarter of a mile south of the Scottish border.

They look forward to meeting as many of their supporters possible. The room they have booked has a lectern and microphone, in case anyone would like to say a few words. Hollie and Anne regret that they are unable to supply refreshments.

Robert Green, the man who was brave enough to speak out about the horrific paedophile rapes of Hollie Greig, the most probable murder of her uncle Robert Greig to “shut him up”, and the sickening wall of silence by the Scottish establishment, has been arrested. We believe the charge is Breach of the Peace. 

We understand Robert is in court today Monday 15 Feb 2010 – not an Aberdeen Court as might be expected, but Stonehaven Court which is some 50 miles south of Aberdeen. Staff in Aberdeen Court admitted the handling of Robert Green is most unusual. A judicial scam?

The whole thing stinks of a cover-up using the ‘law’ to threaten and imprison a man fighting for the truth about the terrible abuse of Hollie Greig. We also understand that law firm Levy & McRae (who have and are still threatening the UKColumn) are the Legal Advisers to every mainstream newspaper in Scotland with the one exception of “The Scotsman”. It is also of interest to the public that Mr Peter Watson, head of litigation Levy & McRae boasts an interesting CV which includes Dunblane.

Picking up on the Hollie Greig abuse scandal, the highly regarded Scottish Law Reporter states the following

[Scottish] Justice Secretary Kenny MacAskill is linked to Lord Advocate’s choice of lawyers. Amazingly, it can now be revealed the Scottish Government’s current Justice Secretary, Kenny MacAskill has long standing ties to Levy & McRae, the same law firm used by the Lord Advocate to threaten media publication of the Hollie Greig case. Mr MacAskill is now known to have served his apprenticeship at Levy & McRae and also worked at the firm for a considerable time during his years as a solicitor.

Levy & McRae sent out legal threats to websites, newspapers, & online forums. Mr MacAskill could not be contacted for any comment on developments in the case, and officials said he would not answer any questions over his previous involvement with Levy & McRae. However, several MSPs alerted to the fact the Lord Advocate has used the same firm which once employed the Justice Secretary himself, have now vowed to investigate the goings on in the Hollie Greig case. An aide to an MSP today said there may well be a problem for the Justice Secretary since the Lord Advocate has used his old law firm, throwing up the question of conflict of interest and whether the intervention against the media by Levy & McRae “may have implied Scottish Government support for the law firm’s work on behalf of the Lord Advocate.

Abusive

Levy & McRae were abusive and threatening in their calls to the UKColumn and they have sent a number of communications alleging that they act on behalf of the Scottish Lord Advocate Elish Angiolini. Levy & McRae refuse to state whether they act for Mrs Agiolini in her official position and capacity, or her capacity as a private individual. Normally reliable sources close to the Scottish Government allege that Angiolini has been using Scottish taxpayers money to pay Levy & McRae – including legal threats to Google over their exposure of the Hollie Greig paedophile abuse. Levy & McRae’s actions are further compounded by their recent reference to Sheriff Bucchanan. who was named by Robert Green in his public statement. It is not clear if Levy & McRae are also acting for Bucchanan.

The UKColumn considers that it is in the overwhelming interest to publish the letters we have received from Levy & McRae, together with our replies. The general public must be aware of not only the details of the Hollie Greig paedophile case, but also the legal wheeling and dealing being used to silence press and media. With what objective? To prevent the truth of paedophile abuse of children being exposed? What have these people got to hide?

Since Ms Angiolini is in charge of criminal prosecutions in Scotland, it appears that she can now prosecute those who dare to question her position and role in handling paedophile cases. Such a situation is not just unhealthy it is close to a soviet style dictatorship, which threatens the safety and welfare of every man, woman and child in Scotland.

Deeper research reveals other strange facts in the Hollie Greig abuse scandal. Colin McKerracher, the Chief Constable of Grampian Police – the force which failed to investigate Hollie Greig’s abuse, but can arrest Robert Greig for speaking out – is Chairman of the North East of Scotland Child Protection Committee NESCPC. He is the main signatory of NESCPC’s 2008 – 2009 business plan

The mission of NESCPC is:

that the core business of the NESCPC continues to be about ‘child protection’ as opposed to the wider ‘protecting children’ agenda but that there should be links with other agendas such as Getting it Right for Every Child. ‘Child Protection’ is the recognition of, and response to, concerns that a child or young person is suffering or likely to suffer from significant harm.

Child protection is a big thing for Mr McKerracher it seems unless the child concerned is Hollie Greig. Or is there another interest by Grampian Police?

NESCPC budgeted for an expenditure of £276,146 in their business plan. The very mention of children, money and business plans makes UKColumn staff uneasy.

Interestingly enough, against the background of the Hollie Greig paedophile abuse case, Peter Hitchens, Mail on Sunday 14 Feb 2010, reported on homosexual pornography and politics in his article ”Loathe Gordon? Wait till this lot get into power.” (Scroll two thirds down the page.)

Well revealed Mr. Hitchens, and just to keep the pot boiling, the UKColumn wrote an article in October 2007, which we will reprint on the website soon, exposing links between the website of Francis Maude MP, then Tory Chairman, and homosexual porn sites.

Mindful that perverts appear in pin striped suits, and returning to the case of Hollie Greig, we can ask one simple question. How is it that Hollie’s paedophile abuse case was never fully investigated by Grampian Police and never pressed by Angiolini’s office, yet the same authorities can arrest Robert Green for daring to speak out? Is the Scottish elite frightened of something? You bet.

But the truth is emerging fast on a can of worms that may yet claim scalps in very high places and in very big law firms.

As the Hollie Greig paedophile abuse case grows we are seeing the true state of our political and judicial elite – in Scotland and in England. Please keep doing all you can to spread the word. Publicity and understanding by the wider general public is key to exposing these sick individuals.

A BBC Weather presenter who was discussed by scientists in the “climategate” emails says he was forwarded the material more than five weeks before it was made public on the internet.

Paul Hudson, a weather presenter and climate correspondent for the BBC, notes on his blog “I was forwarded the chain of e-mails on the 12th October,”.

Hudson says he saw the exact emails that were either hacked or leaked from the Climate Research Unit at East Anglia University placed on the internet last week.

“The e-mails released on the internet as a result of CRU being hacked into are identical to the ones I was forwarded and read at the time and so, as far as l can see, they are authentic.” Hudson notes.

 Why is there a proliferation of violence in entertainment and sports, both in the present day and throughout history? 

What purpose does such mass media exposure to violence serve with regard to the societal and mental state of the populous? 

Who benefits from the agenda of displaying violence in the media and how do they benefit  from people all over the world being exposed every day to this violence? 

The fact that the entertainment industry is rife with violence is not likely to be widely contested.  It is there in front of your face every day, on the news, in cartoons, in movies and even at the football matches.  All this violence brought directly to your living rooms, why? 

In order to fully understand why we are being exposed to so much violence from a young age we must first answer two questions.  How does violence effect the human mind and psyche?  Who benefits as a result of this effect?

 Violence as entertainment has been used for millennia, the specific aim of which is control of the masses.  Use of violence and the fear it generates, in combination with the Hegelian dialectic (which David Icke so aptly calls problem, reaction, solution,) is one of the key techniques for the mass manipulation of human behavior.  The Roman Emperors were well aware of these techniques which is why they built circuses for the games and chariot races in every major city of the empire.  It is their direct bloodline descendants today who still control much of the world who use TV and the entire entertainment industry as a means to solidify their power base in much the same way as their forefathers did. 

 TV far outstrips its predecessor the colosseum in effectiveness.  This is because it can deliver horror and violence directly into the homes of a captivated populous.  Sports such as football generates riots just as the chariot races did during the Roman Empire.  The riots between Blue and Green supporters culminated in the Nika Revolt during which half of Constantinople was burnt down and tens of thousands of people lost their lives.  Now the supporters are for Arsenal or Ajax instead of the Blues and the Greens, but the outcome still has the potential to be the same.  Ironically just after I began writing this essay a football riot occurred in Northern Ireland.  As you can see, the agenda to create problems and generate artificial factions is running according to plan. 

 One of the main reasons for intentionally creating fear and stress in an individual is that in this state a person becomes more amenable to suggestion.  When people feel threatened they naturally seek protection.  Many will turn to the government and its law enforcement agencies in the hopes that they can engender some sense of security.  This leads to governments launching false flag operations, the aim of which is to create panic and fear in order to impose stricter legislation, expand governmental powers and limit the freedoms of the populous.  This is why events like 9/11 and 7/7 were played continuously in the media internationally. This is done in order to generate enough fear so that the governments of the world would have cart blanche to legislate as they please, regardless of constitutions and laws of their respective countries.

 This same manipulation of fear is the purpose for the overblown coverage of football riots.  It creates apprehension in the average spectator who just wants to enjoy the game.  Those who wish to attend public events must be willing to give up their personal rights for a bit of perceived safety.  They must show ID cards and submit willingly to unjustified searches.  These searches will undoubtedly become more and more frequent in every day life instead of just at the airport or public sporting events.

 Fear is not the only effect of violence that is favorable with regard to the elite’s agenda of manipulation.  In order to have trained military personnel devoid of empathy, it is preferable to desensitize and condition them to violence as young as possible.  The media is a perfect vehicle for this sort of conditioning.  For this reason video games, cartoons and comics aimed at children are incredibly violent.  The media aimed at adults is even worse and as everyone knows mark a movie or a video game rated as adult content, it is the first one kids will sneak into or get a copy of online. 

 I am NOT implying we should censor the media.  Hell, they already censor most of the useful information out themselves.  What we must understand is how the media is being used.  It is scientifically acknowledged that violence and fear effects humans on a cellular level.  Those who are feeding the worlds populous daily doses of violence and terror know this.  The media is utilized for this aforementioned agenda of distraction, desensitization and fear.  Do not fall victim to the mass Stockholm Syndrome they are trying to induce.  Do not let the media form your opinions for you.  Do not be frightened into trading your freedom for the erroneous perception of safety.

Internet access is not conditional

Everyone who owns a website has an interest in defending the free use of Internet… so has everyone who uses Google or Skype… everyone who expresses their opinions freely, does research of any kind, whether for personal health problems or academic study … everyone who shops online…who dates online…socialises online… listens to music…watches video…

Millions of Europeans now depend on the Internet, directly or indirectly, for their livelihood. Taking it away, chopping it up, ‘restricting it’, ‘limiting it’ and placing conditions on our use of it, will have a direct impact on people’s earnings. And in the current financial climate, that can’t be good.

The internet as we know it is at risk because of proposed new EU rules going through end of April. Under the proposed new rules, broadband providers will be legally able to limit the number of websites you can look
at, and to tell you whether or not you are allowed to use particular services. It will be dressed up as ‘new consumer options’ which people can choose from. People will be offered TV-like packages - with a limited
number of options for you to access.

It means that the Internet will be packaged up and your ability to access and to put up content could be severely restricted. It will create boxes of Internet accessibility, which don’t fit with the way we use it today. This is because internet is now permitting exchanges between persons which cannot be controlled or “facilitated” by any middlemen (the state or a corporation) and this possibility improves the citizen’s life but force the industry to lose power and control. that’s why they are pushing governments to act those changes.

For many (or some) of us that were subject to intensive Holocaust conditioning as kids in American public schools, we saw films of hundreds and thousands of piled bodies from old WWII footage a few times a year - year in, year out. We were told they were Jews that had been murdered, gassed mostly, by the Nazis. I recall seeing my first one of these films in the early 1970’s when I was about nine or ten years old.

It went on for my entire education in the Boston area and then in high school in Columbia, Md. when my family had moved. In 1978 when the NBC television miniseries “Holocaust” was required watching for my social studies class, it seemed perfectly natural that we were expected to sit through four nights of television that even Elie Wiesel called “untrue, offensive, cheap.”

As a kid, I always felt a little sledgehammered after being subjected to those movies in the darkened classroom, surrounded by my fellow students with the teacher sitting in the back to keep an eye on us to make sure we didn’t fool around or otherwise be distracted from the Important Information that was being injected into our still-forming minds. Dark rooms under veil of authority are very conducive to making certain that attention is given to what’s to be taken in.

What was being funneled into our brains was a steady diet of grainy black and white movies of Jews being herded through towns like cattle, bodies being bulldozed into pits, mass trench shootings, prisoners that looked like the walking dead, emaciated corpses piled like firewood. If you had a similar experience in school, you know of what I speak. Then there was usually some kind of after-lesson given by the teacher when we were at our most traumatized. Bad Nazis. Nice teacher.

And we all took it in, without question. Six million Jews died in gas chambers, were made into soap, burned in ovens. Four million Jews died in Auschwitz. Nazis made lampshades out of Jewish skin. Gas chambers in Germany. And thus was the core of my childhood education of the Holocaust. I never questioned what I’d been taught. I had no reason to. Leaving any idea of academia behind in 1980 when high school was over, I went along with my merry little life and to be honest, I didn’t think much about the Holocaust again.

That changed for me in the late 1990’s when I learned, via the internet and my own research afterwards, that the number of dead at Auschwitz had been revised downward from four million to one million, but the overall six million Jewish dead still stood as gospel. Or maybe five million as of now. It was six million no questions asked when I was a kid.

Why is the BBC obsessed with making working-class people seem racist?

Watching BBC news bulletins yesterday, it was very easy to believe claims that the current spate of wildcat strikes is inherently motivated by xenophobia. Constant emphasis was placed on objections to “foreign workers” per se, rather than fear of workers’ wages being undercut, which would seem to be the real issue.

The 10 o’clock bulletin gave us a good example. A voiceover by the BBC’s political editor, Nick Robinson, (about 12 mins in) told us: “Beneath the anger, ministers fear, lies straightforward xenophobia.” Cut to woolly-hatted worker telling BBC reporter: “These Portugese and Eyeties – we can’t work alongside of them.” There we are: northern white bloke refusing to work with foreigners. Case closed.

These Portugese and eyeties – we can’t work alongside of them: we’re segregated from them. They’re coming in in full companies.

Even taking into account the dodginess of the use of “Eyetie” to refer to an Italian person, one has to admit that it would be very difficult to portray the second, full quote as racist or xenophobic. It’s a statement addressing basic workplace issues – British workers literally cannot work alongside foreign workers, as they are separated. There really is no excuse for editing and presenting a quote in such a misrepresentative manner, unless one is setting out to prove something – namely, that working-class people are racists.

HITLER and Mussolini both had the ability to bend millions of people to their fascist will. Now evidence from psychology and neurology is emerging to explain how tactics like organised marching and propaganda can work to exert mass mind control.

Scott Wiltermuth of Stanford University in California and colleagues have found that activities performed in unison, such as marching or dancing, increase loyalty to the group. “It makes us feel as though we’re part of a larger entity, so we see the group’s welfare as being as important as our own,” he says.

Wiltermuth’s team separated 96 people into four groups who performed these tasks together: listening to a song while silently mouthing the words, singing along, singing and dancing, or listening to different versions of the song so that they sang and danced out of sync. In a later game, when asked to decide whether to stick with the group or strive for personal gain, those in the non-synchronised group behaved less loyally than the rest (Psychological Science, vol 20, p 1).

Psychologist Jonathan Haidt at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville thinks this research helps explain why fascist leaders, amongst others, use organised marching and chanting to whip crowds into a frenzy of devotion to their cause, though these tactics can be used just as well for peace, he stresses. Community dances and group singing can ease local tension, for example - a theory he plans to test experimentally (Journal of Legal Studies, DOI: 10.1086/529447).

Meanwhile, the powerful unifying effects of propaganda images are being explored by Charles Seger at Indiana University at Bloomington. His team primed students with pictures of their university - college sweatshirts or the buildings themselves - then asked how highly they scored on different emotions, such as pride or happiness. The primed students gave a strikingly similar emotional profile, in contrast with non-primed students (Journal of Experimental Social Psychology, DOI: 10.1016/j.jesp.2008.12.004).

Interest in the idea of a herd mentality has been renewed by work into mirror neurons - cells that fire when we perform an action or watch someone perform a similar action. It suggests that our brains are geared to mimic our peers. “We are set up for ‘auto-copy’,” says Haidt.

Londoners might have been startled last Monday to see a giant mock-up of a polar bear on an iceberg, floating on the Thames outside the Palace of Westminster. They might not have been so surprised to learn, first, that this was a global warming propaganda stunt and, second, that the television company behind it is part-owned by the BBC.

It was ironic that, last week, while the BBC was refusing to show an appeal for aid to the victims of Israeli bombing in Gaza, on the grounds that this might breach its charter obligation to be impartial, a rather less publicised row was raging over Newsnight’s doctoring of film of President Obama’s inaugural speech, which was used to support yet another of its items promoting the warming scare. Clips from the speech were spliced together to convey a considerably stronger impression of what Obama had said on global warming than his very careful wording justified. While that may have been unprofessional enough, the rest of the item, by Newsnight’s science editor, Susan Watts, was even more bizarre. It was no more than a paean of gratitude that we now at last have a president prepared to listen to the “science” on climate change, after the dark age of religious obscurantism personified by President Bush.

Excessive exposure makes a child materialistic, which in turn affects their relationship with their parents and their health.

That is one of the conclusions of a new wide-ranging survey into British childhood, produced for the Children’s Society.

It says that children are part of a new form of consumerism, with under 16 year-olds spending £3 billion of their own money each year on clothes, snacks, music, video games and magazines.

The report claims that some advertisers “explicitly exploit the mechanism of peer pressure, while painting parents as buffoons” and that in its most extreme form, advertising persuades children that “you are what you own”.

In addition the “constant exposure” to celebrities through, TV soaps, dramas and chat shows is having a detrimental effect.

It says: “Children today know in intimate detail the lives of celebrities who are richer than they will ever be, and mostly better-looking. This exposure inevitably raises aspirations and reduces self-esteem.”

It adds the way celebrities are portrayed “automatically encourages the excessive pursuit of wealth and beauty.”

This “media-driven consumerism” is having a negative effect on a child’s wellbeing, the report says.

The decision of the BBC to refuse to broadcast a humanitarian appeal for the Disasters Emergency Committee (DEC) made of up British NGOs working in the Gaza Strip to help the wounded and homeless of Gaza is one of the most craven acts of political and legal cowardice in the history of British television broadcasting.

In all my years as General Secretary of War on Want, as Chairman of the International Broadcasting Trust, as Patron of the One World Broadcasting Trust, and as a member of the previous Educational Advisory Committee of the Independent Broadcasting Authority, I never came across such a huge political misjudgement as that made by Mark Thompson, the Director General of the BBC. He must resign or the damage to the Corporation will be cumulative and global.

During the Thatcher years when War on Want was in a constant battle with the Charity Commission on politics and charity law there was no parallel to this.

‘A former British Cabinet minister says the BBC seeks to appease Tel Aviv by refusing to broadcast a humanitarian appeal for Gaza. The BBC has sparked controversy by refusing to broadcast a charity appeal for the victims of the war on Gaza.

In a Saturday interview with the British Broadcasting Corporation, former Labour MP Tony Benn attributed the BBC refusal to claims made by Israeli Foreign Minister Tzipi Livni that there is no humanitarian crisis in the territory.

The former Cabinet minister lashed out at the network, saying that the BBC “betrayed” its public service obligations by refusing to broadcast the humanitarian bid – which has left aid agencies with a donation shortfall of millions of pounds.’

The BBC has refused to broadcast a national humanitarian appeal for Gaza, leaving aid agencies with a potential shortfall of millions of pounds in donations.

The Disasters Emergency Committee (DEC), an umbrella organisation for 13 aid charities, launched its appealtoday saying the devastation in Gaza was “so huge that British aid agencies were compelled to act”.

But the BBC made a rare breach of an agreement dating back to 1963 when it announced it would not give free airtime to the appeal. Other broadcasters then followed suit. Previously, broadcasters have agreed on the video and script to be used with the DEC, with each station choosing a presenter to front the appeal, shown after primetime news bulletins.

The BBC said it was not the first time broadcasters had refused to show a DEC appeal.

The corporation said it had been concerned about the difficulties of getting aid through to victims in a volatile situation. The BBC, which has faced criticism in the past over alleged bias in its coverage of the Middle East, said it did not want to risk public confidence in its impartiality.
