The 33-year-old woman fled to Ireland with her son in a bid to prevent social services taking him back into care. The British authorities maintain the boy suffered “emotional harm” while witnessing his father’s violent rages against the mother and needs to be placed with a foster family.

But his mother, who has separated from the father, says social workers have never argued that she posed a danger to him and therefore have no case against her.

Devon social services are going to an Irish court in the next few weeks with an international warrant demanding the return of the child, who cannot be identified and is known as Boy L, into their care.

Oxford University Press has removed words like “aisle”, “bishop”, “chapel”, “empire” and “monarch” from its Junior Dictionary and replaced them with words like “blog”, “broadband” and “celebrity”. Dozens of words related to the countryside have also been culled.

The publisher claims the changes have been made to reflect the fact that Britain is a modern, multicultural, multifaith society.

But academics and head teachers said that the changes to the 10,000 word Junior Dictionary could mean that children lose touch with Britain’s heritage.

“We have a certain Christian narrative which has given meaning to us over the last 2,000 years. To say it is all relative and replaceable is questionable,” said Professor Alan Smithers, the director of the centre for education and employment at Buckingham University. “The word selections are a very interesting reflection of the way childhood is going, moving away from our spiritual background and the natural world and towards the world that information technology creates for us.”

An analysis of the word choices made by the dictionary lexicographers has revealed that entries from “abbey” to “willow” have been axed. Instead, words such as “MP3 player”, “voicemail” and “attachment” have taken their place.

The mother of a Wisconsin teenager was stunned when her high school senior brought home a questionnaire assigned by his English teacher that asked, among several provocative questions, “Is it possible that your heterosexuality stems from a neurotic fear of others of the same sex?”

The mother, Marilyn Hanson, reviewed the questionnaire and thought it completely inappropriate for any class, but especially for a required English class, where, Hanson told WND, “They should be taught to read and write and prepare for college .”

“I really believe this was outright indoctrination to the homosexual viewpoint,” Hanson said. “I could see this being discussed in a debate class, where both sides were presented. But the other side was not presented.”

Hanson told WND, “I think they’re trying to shove [homosexuality] down our throats.”

Traditional subjects such as history, geography and religious studies will be removed from the primary school curriculum and merged into a “human, social and environmental” learning programme as part of a series of radical education reforms.

Under the plans, information technology classes would be given as much prominence as literacy and numeracy, and foreign languages would be taught in tandem with English.

The reforms are the most sweeping for 20 years and aim to slim down the curriculum so that younger children can be taught fewer subjects in greater depth.

Sir Jim Rose, author of the interim report to be published today by the Schools Secretary, Ed Balls, said that the changes were aimed at producing a curriculum for the 21st century. His proposals are to undergo further consultation but are understood to have the backing of the Government.

 Science has conceded the error: More than one lab has in fact shown that cell phone radiation can cause DNA breaks. Back in August, reporter Gretchen Vogel claimed that Hugo Rüdiger at the University of Vienna medical school was the only one (see September 3, below). Now, Vogel allows that a team from Zhejiang University in Hangzhou, China, had previously observed DNA breaks in cells exposed to GSM radiation.

In a letter published in the magazine’s November 28 issue, Vini Khurana, a neurosurgeon in Canberra, Australia, advises that, “[T]here are many other peer-reviewed papers from laboratories in at least seven countries, including the United States, showing that cell phone or similar low-intensity EMFs can break DNA or modulate it structurally.” (Others have submitted similar complaints to the magazine’s editors.) In her response, Vogel writes, “My intention was not to imply that there were only two papers showing any effects of EMFs. There are many publications that show effects of EMFs on DNA, but the citations listed [by Khurana] do not directly contradict the quoted sentence.” That sentence which leads her August 29 article begins: “The only two peer-reviewed scientific papers showing that [EMFs] from cell phones can cause DNA breakage…” In an exchange with Microwave News, Vogel drew a sharp distinction between DNA “damage” and “breakage,” which, she said, allowed her to exclude many other papers, particularly one by John Aitken.

British-born Pakistanis were among the Mumbai terrorists, Indian government sources claimed today, as the death toll rose to at least 150.

As many as seven of the terrorists may have British connections and some could be from Leeds and Bradford where London’s July 7 bombers lived, one source said.

Two Britons were among eight gunmen being held, according to Mumbai’s chief minister Vilasrao Deshmukh. At least nine others are reportedly dead.

The eight arrested were captured by commandos after they stormed two hotels and a Jewish centre to free hostages today.

One security official said: ‘There is growing concern about British involvement in the attacks.’

When I was a child, ‘pester power’ meant stamping one’s feet in a shop. It involved little more than begging one’s mum in an irritating voice for the latest He-Man figure or for one of those unusually thick pink milkshakes from a place called McDonald’s.

It was a feeble force, this alleged power of the pest, easily quashed by a clip around the lughole or by that most ominous threat issued by mums-in-distress: ‘Just you wait until your dad gets home.’

How times have changed. Today, ‘pester power’ is a powerful political tool.

New Labour is explicitly recruiting children to its climate change and respect agendas  -  its illiberal, conformist, thought-policing programmes of ‘good behaviour’ promotion  -  in the hope that they might, ‘use their pester power in a positive way: reminding grown-ups how to behave’.

After coating Britain in CCTV cameras, the Government is nurturing a battalion of child spies, an army of ethically minded Veruca Salts, to harry and hector the badly behaved adults of 21st-century Britain.

A surreal scientific blunder last week raised a huge question mark about the temperature records that underpin the worldwide alarm over global warming. On Monday, Nasa’s Goddard Institute for Space Studies (GISS), which is run by Al Gore’s chief scientific ally, Dr James Hansen, and is one of four bodies responsible for monitoring global temperatures, announced that last month was the hottest October on record.

This was startling. Across the world there were reports of unseasonal snow and plummeting temperatures last month, from the American Great Plains to China, and from the Alps to New Zealand. China’s official news agency reported that Tibet had suffered its “worst snowstorm ever”. In the US, the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration registered 63 local snowfall records and 115 lowest-ever temperatures for the month, and ranked it as only the 70th-warmest October in 114 years.

So what explained the anomaly? GISS’s computerised temperature maps seemed to show readings across a large part of Russia had been up to 10 degrees higher than normal. But when expert readers of the two leading warming-sceptic blogs, Watts Up With That and Climate Audit, began detailed analysis of the GISS data they made an astonishing discovery. The reason for the freak figures was that scores of temperature records from Russia and elsewhere were not based on October readings at all. Figures from the previous month had simply been carried over and repeated two months running.

Before she met me, my wife hadn’t a clue about the things I write about here. She still struggles to accept quite a lot of it. But I know something is changing when she points things out to me that even a few months ago would have gone unnoticed.

On this occasion, it was in an interview with the Prince of Darkness on Channel 4 news.

“This is really weird,” she said, “the interviewer is speaking normally, but it’s like Mandelson is trying to hypnotise everyone.”

The reason this brought a wry smile to my face was that I had, just that day, been digging into Mandelson’s links to the murky world of Neuro-Linguistic Programming - that “leadership”/change/personality-splitting technique used by the likes of Common Purpose.

I don’t watch TV or movies anymore, mostly. But I watched Elizabeth I: The Golden Age, directed by Shekhar Kapur. I’m still interested in that part of history, and I’ve had a nagging suspicion that there’s some significance I should be exploring in the Spanish Armada. It turns out the movie inspired me to discover some interesting clues.

The movie is a joke. It’s so over the top. Overt propaganda for British patriotism, and so idealizes the person of Elizabeth, aggrandizing her into a sort of superhero. So the acting is grossly exaggerated, and has no sense of realism.

And the movie follows the stereotypes forged by the Da Vinci Code in thoroughly demonizing the Catholics. All suspicions of the Vatican being the bastion of all modern evil aside, this is a pathological bent that is symptomatic of wholesale absorption of the Illuminati agenda.

It was farcical.

This characterization of the Catholics as villains was contrasted by a celebration of its contrary, the occult. I was at least pleased with the fact that the movie showed that Elizabeth consulted her magician, John Dee. Dee is no small personage in the history of the occult. He was supposedly responsible for creating Enochian magic, which has fascinated occultists ever since

IMHO this is all about getting people to accept a chip inside their bodies!

A young woman has been found hanged in Bridgend, taking the toll of suicides by young people in the area to 24 since the start of last year.

Another 23 young people aged 15 to 27 have been found hanged in the borough of Bridgend since the start of 2007.

But South Wales police say there is no link between the deaths.

A spokesman said: “We were called to a report of a sudden death of a 25 year old woman in Bridgend. The death is not being treated as suspicious. A file is being compiled on behalf of the coroner.

“There are clearly similarities between recent sudden deaths in Bridgend but we can confirm our investigations have by no means uncovered any criminal evidence that links them.”

The Strategic Health Authority (SHA) acting with the Primary Care Trust (PCT) - parts of the NHS are currently ‘looking’ at evidence to help them reach their decision on whether to fluoridate the water in the Southamtpon area - this would also include other areas outside of southamtpon city itself.

They plan to put 112.3 tonnes of fluoricidic acid into the water. This isn’t pure pharmaceutical grade fluoride but industrial waste probably from the Netherlands where its use is banned just like in most other European countries. Along with the fluoride ions you get heavy metals like mercury and lead - they are essentially dumping.

I think that if this goes through it could signal a roll out of Fluoridation in a lot more areas - they are trying their luck again…so by no means is this an isolated event. 90 % of Southampton residents in a wessex poll were against it, but that isn’t stopping them.
The report itself seems to read like a sales brochure, not an impartial, peer reviewed balanced investigation. And why would it be balanced - the government funded it and they want to fluoridate.

 They concentrate on teeth, the scientific link between better dental health and fluoridation being tenuous at best. Very few studies into health effects have been looked at. Those that have been done worldwide at higher than 1ppm, but the SHA say they are only going to look at studies at 1ppm - those studies haven’t been done in the fluoridated countries. how convenient…..-thus they don’t mention those real studies that show adverse health effects.
I suspect they may think they’ve made up their minds already, but hopefully our views will still be taken into account. if enough people come forward they won’t be able to push it through.

The last date for evidence is December the 19th 2008 and they’ll make their decision in Jan/Feb next year.
There are two question time events left before the deadline. Both are at St.Mary’s stadium (In the Mick Channon suite) between 7-9 pm
The first is on the 18th of November and the second, December the 3rd.

Every secondary school is to get a Holocaust specialist to ensure that the subject is taught comprehensively and sensitively.

One teacher from every school will be offered a place on a Holocaust education training course to combat racism and intolerance.

One in ten of those who take the course will also be able to take a master’s degree module in Holocaust education, as part of a £1.5 million scheme run by the Institute of Education.

Teachers will discuss parts of the subject that they find difficult to teach and work on lesson plans with experts on how to broach the issue.

Stuart Foster, director of the project, said: “There are increasing concerns in society about intolerance and racism. The BNP is coming to the forefront, and there’s increased anti-Semitism.”

Jacqui Smith says public demand means people will be able to pre-register for an ID card within the next few months.

The cards will be available for all from 2012 but she said: “I regularly have people coming up to me and saying they don’t want to wait that long.”

The home secretary made the claim as she unveiled revised ID scheme plans.

Opposition parties say they would scrap the ID card scheme. The Tories call it a “complete waste of money”. The Lib Dems call it a “laminated poll tax”.

They accused Ms Smith of backtracking on plans to issue ID cards in 2009 for all airside workers, by announcing they would pilot them at just two airports.

The first biometric cards are being issued to students from outside the EU and marriage visa holders this month, and it had been planned to make them compulsory for all 200,000 airside workers from 2009.

Nine out of ten people are happy - and seven in ten optimistic about the future - a government survey suggests.

The National Social Marketing Centre’s findings were published amid widespread fears of recession, falling house prices and rising unemployment.

The report says “in general Britain is a happy nation” with 70% expecting more positive than negative experiences.

It does note an “intensification of the global banking crisis” since the 1,994 people were surveyed in August.

At the time the Department of Health-funded survey was carried out the UK was riding high at the Olympics, picking up its best medals performance for decades.

Since it was carried out by the NCSM and University College London there has been a banking crisis and dramatic economic downturn.

Until recently, “waterboarding” was something that Americans did to other Americans. It was inflicted, and endured, by those members of the special forces who underwent the advanced form of training known as Sere (survival, evasion, resistance, escape). In these harsh exercises, brave men and women were introduced to the sorts of barbarism that they might expect to meet at the hands of a lawless foe who disregarded the Geneva conventions. It was something that Americans were being trained to resist, not to inflict.

Exploring this narrow but deep distinction on a gorgeous day, I found myself deep in the hill country of western North Carolina, preparing to be surprised by a team of extremely hardened veterans who had confronted their country’s enemies in arduous terrain all over the world. They were going to show me as nearly as possible what real waterboarding might be like.

It goes without saying that I knew I could stop the process at any time, and that when it was all over I would be released into happy daylight rather than returned to a darkened cell. But it’s been well said that cowards die many times before their deaths, and it was difficult for me to forget the clause in the contract of indemnification that I had signed.

This document stated revealingly: “ ‘Waterboarding’ is a potentially dangerous activity in which the participant can receive serious and permanent (physical, emotional and psychological) injuries and even death, including injuries and death due to the respiratory and neurological systems of the body.”

Colin Powell, Joe Biden and others have been going around saying there’s some crisis in the works, it’s secret, we can’t tell you what it is. Folks, there’s no crisis happening. What is happening is a simple, but highly effective on someone who lacks the knowledge of it, trick.

The subconscious mind is always recording and listening to whatever is out there, and it exists in an open state, and without a firewall in its default mode It can also be programmed externally by immoral individuals in government, private tax exempt foundations, etc, who hold this knowledge.

 What is done, when people are told by said immoral individuals that so called terrorist attacks are gonna happen, gonna happen, gonna happen in six months or whatever, often specifically and intentionally spoken in an alarming and/or slow tone to bring up and maximize people’s fears, whether they be conscious or subconscious.  If someone knows about the presence of a certain fear, say an overly high, pervasive fear of impending death, they can take that and use it to exercise control over another. At one level, for example, someone who is afraid of dying and someone who doesn’t like them very much is trying to kill them bloodlessly.

 They might roll on up outside the door when someone is showering and say, “Are you in there? I hope you didn’t fall and hit your head!” Terror explodes across that person’s mind as the thought takes on a life of its own and goes spiraling off into scenarios, such as the mind-program that we’re all born with tends to do.

If someone is susceptible enough by being in a weakened mental and emotional state due to insanity, extreme financial hardship, loneliness, extreme emotional/physical trauma, drug/alcohol abuse, then they have a much higher rate of being susceptible to this than someone who isn’t.

These are also the criteria used to select victims for gang stalking, and for subjects for the secret government projects like the covert electromagnetic weapons tests.
